New issue app interface awful

I just downloaded the new issue (March 2015) and update to the iPad app for my Popular Photography subscription. Its awful. What a big step backwards from a readability and user interface perspective. I dont know where to begin. Maybe there is a positive about the new format but I havent found it. The page layout is about as useful or user friendly as a PDF. Only at least with a PDF I could adjust the font to something legible. Not to mention the photos are now less interactive and less appealing to view. Was this a big budget cutting move? Awful. Please tell me this is some mistake and you are going back to the old version. Otherwise I believe Ill have to cancel my subscription. Sorry.

Lost most of my old issues

Agree with review by W McK. Also, I have been a digital subscriber for over three years. With every update I have lost more and more of my old issues. I now have nothing prior to May 2014 (10 issues out of over 40 I have purchased). Where are they?? I will be canceling as well if this is not fixed and the prior interactive format restored.

Crap

Where is my gems? I need them to upgrade my barn!

Not a fan of the new version

The new update has removed the functionality that I liked. This is like reading a PDF version of the magazine. I thought the publishing industry was getting away from that to encourage a more interactive experience. I am very disappointed with the new look and feel.

What happened?

Format changed to an inferior type. Maybe it was too expensive? Still, they should have at least kept the function of the old issues.

Garbage app

Garbage application. Latest update caused me to lose access to most previous purchases and the ones that remain are glorified PDFs. This is not what I paid for or was promised. No refund options exist, buyer beware the app is JUNK (and seems to be the same across other magazines from this publisher)

Sadly

Popular Photography on the iPad used to demonstrate the best usage of the digital medium. The last update lost all of that. Now its no more a PDF viewer-like app.

Would give zero stars if it were an option.

Horrible app and interface. You cant see the entire page. Reading the magazine in this interface is nearly impossible. I cant believe how bad this is.

Lost all issues

I used to own issues since 2011. Now they are ALL GONE and the company will not help me

New version is horrible! Why did you do this?

I dont understand why you would take a great app and reduce it to a horrible app. I left my Nook subscription to move to the iPad version for the added features. Now youve reverted back to a simple slow moving version akin to reading a PDF file. I used to recommend this app to my friends, but no more and I have to rethink if I want to remain a subscriber! Giving you a short time to fix or bye-bye.

canceling

Not worth having since an arbitrary decision was made to wipe out three years worth of digital magazines with a poorly new designed format. Do not waste your money - there are better apps and even better photography magazines available.

Speechless

Ive been a loyal subscriber for a long time and enjoyed the previous app. This new one is simply crap. Forcing portrait mode on a mini is like making me read this mag off the side of a macaroni package. The account management features dont work when buying through Apple and yes, my issues were magically all gone as I discovered on a 6 hour flight (too late). Come on now, fix this.

Scam- "AUTORENEW"

This app is the worst Ive ever used. It defaults to auto-renew your monthly subscription and there is NO WAY TO TURN IT OFF in the app. You have to send a form mail to customer service. Theres to phone number to call and no way to cancel it. Beware!!

Lost issues

Like most everyone, I also have lost my back issues. Then, I find no way to cancel this magazine subscription when I go to the app. No turnoff of auto renewal or anything. Very frustrating!

Horrid separate login

I gave up today and deleted the app. It does not recognize my paid yearly subscription, and Im done fiddling around with it. It is fine if you are buying individual copies.

Unable to sign in

When I click "forgot password" I get a "unable to find page please have your web administrator check the link" I mean...seriously!?!

Where are my issues?

Despite the common complaint of missing issues, Bonniers latest update of the Pop Photo still does not address this issue. They claim to have listened to the reviews, but based on the results, they have not heard a thing. Please give me my issues back that I purchased over the past 4 years. Awful.

Sad Man

"The leading technical authority..." What a joke. I cant get digital access to my last 2 issues even though the hard copies have long been delivered. This shouldnt be this difficult!

Frustrating subscription issues

Update: Downgraded from 4 stars to 1 star. I am a long-time paid subscriber, and Im renewed for many months into the future. The app allows me to download issues older than six months for free, but for anything newer, it wants $4.99/issue. Is this intended? If so, its kind of silly and a bad deal. Original review... "Old app must have been amazing" Im a long-time print subscriber and just learned that the digital version is now included. I read the recent negative reviews of this app, but downloaded it anyway to check it out. I certainly get the annoyance and frustration about losing old issues, and I hope thats remedied. But the new app seems fine to me on my retina iPad. Sharp text. Good picture quality. So the old app must have been really amazing if it was visually better than this one. Im giving 4 stars, since theres apparently room for improvement.

Cannot access account

Since things were changed from the Newstand on the iPad, I cannot access ANYTHING. I attempt to ask for a password recovery for the app, and PopPhoto says I dont exist. But, sure as hell, you took my money.
