I will renew this mag again and again!!!!
I paid for subscription to this magazine in April and have not been able to open an issue since... It keeps trying to make me buy more issues and/or subscriptions, but when try to buy it says I already have a subscription but wont let me open any issues or download anything... Useless
Nice adaptation of magazine, reasonable price for subscription.
I tried to get the magazine I subscribed to. Paid two times.
And now it seems as though the price went up and I have just "donated" my money to an app that doesnt work
Description LIES about a free November preview, only has $4.99 purchase!
I agree this app. does not work. It is awkward, confusing and you dont get the magazine you payed for. DONT BUY IT!
I have been using this app for months now with no problems**. I highly recommend this magazine and app. Canadians should also enjoy the lower price point compared to the print version. **in the app, the sides are a little too sensitive and the page can turn by accident... Only problem I can think of.
I have difficulty with the multi dimensional aspect of the app. I find I never really know if I should be scrolling down or sideways or if I missed something. For a photography magazine it seems to me to difficult to view the photos, many times I have to scroll multiple times up and down or back and forth to find the before and after or to try and isolate the photo from the text that scrolls over it. I find frustrating to use and probably wont renew the subscription.
I find the magazine slow to load and cumbersome to navigate compared to other on line publications I read such as Zite which is free and has great photography articles. I am basically disappointed in what I am getting for the money I spent and my main concern is to try to find out how to ensure it will not renew automatically and charge my credit card for another year.
So far so good. I have only read a couple issues, but I am pleased with the app. Easy to use, and I like the double-tap to see only the photograph.
While the concept has merit and the reding experience has improved over time, I generally find unsatisfactory. Suggest the designers study other apps, such as the one used by Wired and adopt a few more of their concepts. Even better, simplify, there simply is no excuse to need to build a reading app that needs a user guide.
This is a great app and have never experienced a problem yet. They could be a little faster with the issues coming out but overall a great app. Not too indepth and a great casual read to know whats going on in the photography world. I got a subscription to another photography magazine and nothing but problems.
Works fine. I like that its adapted for both portrait and landscape mode. Like double-tap feature.
Just a buch of ads..
Like the app. Navigating is easy once you get used to the single or double tap. Good content. Recommend it.
I love the format, great way to read magazines I wouldnt normally want to lug around.
Umm fonts are blurry. Not high res and not Retina Display compatible
Fonts are still blurry on the new iPad. Please fix it soon :)
Had previously been reasonable, somewhat less than intuitive interface, but good. There is no May 2012 issue, no explanation, and seemingly no ability to obtain it.
