Nice Try but needs reworking and enhancements
This is a review of the online app only. I applaud PP for trying a unique approach to the UI specific to enjoying the presentation of photos, and it is an enhancement to the print version unquestionably. However, the navigation often has me flipping to the next article inadvertently or double tapping when I should single tap. After reading 6 issues I still dont have a handle on it. It simply isnt intuitive nor particularly consistent with other major apps UIs. Lastly, were talking photography here, yet there is no functionality to allow for viewing of photos in the native (full) resolutions or doing comparisons of before/afters which are both naturals for digital presentation. Dont give me excuses about copyright or technical issues (like download size), these can handled as optional or on demand enhancements that would triple the enjoyment factor for me. And yes, I would pay more for the privilege, and it would further distinguish PP from the competition.
Ill be looking for these enhancements in the next major version!
